Cuba denounced that the United States Government organises, finances and executes a comprehensive programme of economic war with the purpose of destabilising the constitutional order in the Antillean nation.

According to the challenge, disseminated on the programme Razones de Cuba, one of the mainstays of that hostility is the scheme of currency trafficking and tax evasion on the island, using operators of Cuban origin residing in United States territory and other countries.

Directly, the accusation pointed to El Toque, a supposedly independent digital medium, specialised in economic, legal and public service information for Cuban communities, and underlined that in that operation money from the North American taxpayer is used.

In the space, reports were revealed about the allocation of funds to the companies Media Plux Experience and Mas Voces Fundations, registered precisely in the name of the director of El Toque, José Jasán Nieves.

A portion of those funds, it emerged, is used to promote leaders among the non-state economic actors and guarantee the illegal trafficking of freely convertible currencies in the Caribbean country.

On the other hand, actions from 2024 starring the deputy head of Public Relations of the United States Embassy in this capital, Xavier Billingsley, were presented, and evidence of the participation of several citizens in operations to provoke an inflationary crisis in Cuba.

The denunciation, assured the attendees, confirms that, as announced at the end of last October by the Minister of Foreign Relations, Bruno Rodríguez, Cuba investigated the national inflationary phenomenon and compiled evidence of the comprehensive programme of economic war perpetrated from the United States.
