CIMEX Implements Vehicle Registration Requirement for Fuel Purchases via Ticket Platform

The CIMEX Corporation announced today that starting August 1st, service stations will require customers to present their vehicle registration documents to verify license plate numbers registered in the Ticket platform when purchasing fuel. This measure aims to streamline operations and better serve customer demand, according to Tribuna de La Habana.

Since March, CIMEX has implemented the Ticket digital platform at multiple Havana service stations to organize fuel distribution. The system requires users to register personal details including full name, national ID number, email address, phone number, and vehicle registration information.

The corporation identified violations of platform terms and conditions, with some customers registering the same vehicle at multiple service stations, creating operational disruptions. While current registrations using only license plates will remain valid through July 31, vehicle registration documents will become mandatory thereafter.

CIMEX apologized for any inconvenience and urged customers to stay informed through official channels. The corporation provided multiple contact options:
