At the end of the beautiful show, Julio Gómez Casanova, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party; Alfre Menéndez Pérez, Governor, and other members of the presidency of the longest, most agglutinative and traditional people’s party that extended to the 10 municipalities of the territory of Avila, spoke with its participants.
Minutes before the start of the multitudinous parade, the Doctor in
Fidel Antonio Castro Smirnov, said about the greatest proletarian: «From the height of his morality, defying gravity and obstacles, we wanted to symbolically accompany Fidel and take the sky by storm again in a sincere testimony of love and respect for the eternal rebel, for his life and work, for his people, for all of you, all of you workers».
Addressing the crowd at the provincial act of homage to the proletariat on its day, Niurka Ferrer Castillo, secretary general of the CTC in the territory of Avila, said that with everyone’s contribution, progress will be made in the programmes that support the economic and social transformation of the country.
