Designated host province for the national commemoration, Avilanian authorities have systematically refined tasks through dedicated commissions to ensure meticulous execution ahead of the national observance.

Representatives from the Central Committee’s Ideological Department, alongside provincial political and governmental leadership, confirm a significant solidarity event on 25th July – complementing municipal programmes – with over 300 international guests expected.

That evening, Avilanians will prepare their emblematic Teatro Principal for a cultural gala featuring local and national artists, creating a worthy tribute to the historic date.

Precision in every operational detail remains the tactical priority, ensuring Cuba and the world may witness the dawn ceremony on 26th July. Preliminary estimates indicate 10,000 attendees at Máximo Gómez Báez Revolution Square, with multi-platform broadcast coverage.

Julio Heriberto Gómez Casanova, Provincial Party Committee First Secretary, affirmed subsequent coordination meetings with municipal secretaries and grassroots People’s Power structures, stating: «Ciego de Ávila stands fully equipped to guarantee the successful national celebration this 26th of July.»
