Ciego de Avila: 64th anniversary of the creation of children’s circles celebrated

The educators Leonor Chirino Hernández and Nancy Pérez Rodríguez, who have worked for more than forty years in the education sector, and ten other outstanding workers, were recognised this Thursday at the educational institution Los zapaticos de Rosa, on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the creation of the children’s circles.

Bismark Salaber Varela, general director of Education in the municipality of Ciego de Ávila, was also recognised for his dedication and support for the centre’s activities, and the new generations of educators were exhorted to give continuity to the profession, with love and responsibility.

In the presence of Misleydi Abad Modey, first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Party in Ciego de Avila, and the mayor Yuri Izaguirre, those present enjoyed the creativity and enthusiasm of the centre’s educators, guests, family members, and students, who came dressed as their favourite animated characters, and between dances and songs demonstrated their joy.

Yasmin Carballo, who has also dedicated four decades of her life to the sector, seven of them as the director of the children’s circle, told Invasor that the secret to her satisfaction is in the dedication and love she has for the institution and the children.
