The Meliá Cayo Coco Hotel was the venue this March 4th for the celebration of the central activity of the province of Ciego de Ávila for the Day of the Hotel and Tourism Worker.

Presided over by Julio Gómez Casanova, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party and Alfre Menéndez, Governor, at the activity five outstanding workers received the distinction Elpidió Sosa, martyr of this sector, assailant of the Moncada barracks.

Also at the celebration, 10 facilities of the Jardines del Rey Tourist Destination received the 22nd CTC Congress award.
