Julio Heriberto Gómez Casanova, First Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Alfred Méndez Pérez, Governor of Ciego de Ávila talk with the injured receiving medical attention at the Roberto Rodríguez Provincial Hospital in the municipality of Morón.

The accident occurred this morning on the road between Morón and Turiguanó Island, exactly in the place known as 7 turbines, when two buses collided, one belonging to the company Constructora Militar and the other to tourism workers.

After the accident, the people came out en masse and spontaneously to donate blood.

From his account on the social network X, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz commented: «It is with great pain that I have learned of an accident on the road to Cayo Coco, in Ciego de Avila.
