Participation in the various actions conceived in the programme of the Second National Strategic Exercise for the Prevention and Fight against Crime, Corruption, Illegalities and Social Indiscipline, is among the priorities of the week in the Education sector in Morón.

From this Monday until next Saturday, the Board of Directors, the municipal structure, directors of educational institutions, teachers and students are involved in various actions, such as educational talks on issues related to teenage pregnancy, substance abuse, debates with students and exchanges with parents and family members.

Yoleisy Valdés Santiago, Director General of Education in Morón, stated that the first step of the exercise was the preparation of the management team, which led to immediate actions in the schools.

At the Nguyen Van Troi Urban Pre-University, educators and students set up an exhibition against drug consumption, with publications and drawings made by adolescents and young people showing their rejection of the consumption of harmful substances.

The exercise is still in its initial phase, as the inspection department plans to carry out internal control actions during the rest of the week, such as checking warehouses and everything related to labour discipline.

In some centres, videos have been shown and educational talks have been given to fifth and sixth grade students with the intervention of school health promoters.
In addition to these actions, the education sector in Morón includes compliance with the system of attention to the population, complaints and petitions.
