The presentation of the book «Memories of the Cuban nation I. Formation and liberation of the nation», by authors Eduardo Torres-Cueva and Yoel Cordoví Núñez, took place at the Máximo Gómez Báez University in Ciego de Ávila.

The introduction was given by the Master of Science Ángel Cabrera Sánchez, historian of Ciego de Ávila, who emphasised the value of the text in order to convey the knowledge of the events that have marked the Cuban nation.

Torres Cueva and Cordoví Núñez are both Doctors of Science and historians of notable work in the rescue and dissemination of the country’s historical heritage.

In addition, at the presentation of the book, Doctor of Science María Magdalena Hernández Morales gave the keynote lecture on «The role of unity in maintaining the achievements of the Cuban Revolution».
