With the purpose of making the most of the soil moisture, the workers of the Integral Forestry Unit in the Avilanian municipality of Morón initiated the Second stage of the 2025 Reforestation Campaign

The forestry workers moved forward a few days from the scheduled date and began the planting of fruit and timber tree seedlings, fundamentally in areas belonging to the Great Wetland of Northern Avilanian territory

Among the main timber species being planted in this stage are the Neem tree and the casuarina, while among the fruit trees the Cashew, Sugar Apple and Soursop stand out

To guarantee the more than 170,000 seedlings that will be used during the Second phase of the 2025 Reforestation Campaign, the effort of the collective at the Camilo Cienfuegos Nursery was decisive, as they collected the necessary seeds using their own means
