The national event for the 65th anniversary of the creation of the Committees for the Defence of the Revolution (CDR) will take place on the upcoming 28 September, at eight in the morning, in the Camilo Cienfuegos square of Ciego de Ávila, Vanguard province in the CDR emulation.

Alexis Cazaña Valdés, provincial coordinator of the country’s largest mass organisation, calls on students, combatants, federated women, and the public to gather in the square from six in the morning. With the approval of the Central Committee of the Party and the Council of State, the medal for the Defence of the Homeland and Neighbourhood Unity will be awarded, the 28 September Flag the highest collective distinction, and recognition will be given to Las Tunas and Matanzas, provinces distinguished in the organisation’s work.
