The Doctor José Assef Yara University of Medical Sciences in Ciego de Ávila and the Autonomous University of Durango Campus Zacatecas in Mexico signed a mutual collaboration agreement yesterday.

In addition to the initialling of the document, there was a meeting of students and professors from both centres to fraternise and exchange experiences.

The university establishments will work to raise the professional and scientific level of their students and teachers, based on their respective teaching systems.

The Mexican authorities declared that «this agreement represents a new opportunity for the exchange of experiences and academic enrichment between the two institutions».
