In the institutions and different spaces of the municipality of Morón in Avila, activities continue as part of the Week of Culture, which will continue until the eighth and also includes extensions to neighbourhoods and communities.

A pilgrimage to the tomb of the dancer Vivian Díaz Guedes, in the cemetery of the city of Morón, served to pay tribute to the outstanding cultural figure, on the 113th anniversary of her birth on 3 May.

Díaz Guedes was a member of the dance couple with her husband Francisco Pacheco, a duo that performed in many countries.

Meanwhile, at the Caonabo Museum, the Vivian among us conversation took place, with opening remarks by historian and writer Larry Morales.

Likewise, as part of the Moronera Culture Week, the directors and workers of the sector and the UNEAC arrived at the Roberto Rodríguez General Teaching Hospital with a suitcase, the first born on the second of May, as part of the Moronera Culture Week.

The gift was given to the mother Yaneisy Santiesteban Aguilar, who was very grateful for this initiative of the cultural sector in Morón.
