With new theoretical proposals, mainly related to women in the world of music, the Symposium Music and Youth continues, as part of the 22nd edition of the Piña Colada Festival in the province of Ciego de Avila.

The workshop «The power of the voice», led by Hera de Cuba, singer and leader of the project Música es mujer, will be an opportunity to talk to the public and share experiences about the trajectory of some of the groups and projects participating in this theoretical space.

Morón, one of the venues of the Piña Colada Festival, will continue with a luxury programme, as among its first activities this municipality witnessed a cultural parade, the development of the first international meeting of history, culture and traditions «El Águila de la Trocha», as well as the presentation, at the Caonabo Moron Museum, of the magazine Honda, dedicated to the culture, history and identity of the province.

The new edition of the Piña Colada, which reaches its second day today, will feature, as usual, concerts of fusion, alternative and contemporary music, the popular festival of the Piña, the meeting of vocal groups Coravila (II Edition), as well as «Latir Avileño», a cultural crusade through communities, student, productive and social interest centres and much more.

Under the slogan «Culture, tradition and modernity», Piña Colada 2025 will host national and international artistic talent from the provinces of Pinar del Rio, Havana, Villa Clara, Sancti Spíritus, Camagüey, Las Tunas and Guantánamo, as well as from Argentina, Mexico, Surinam, Colombia, Burundi, Palestine, Syria, Kenya and South Africa.
