Volunteer work and a political and cultural event will take place at the Empresa Agropecuaria La Cuba.
A voluntary work from the early hours of this morning, in the Empresa Agropecuaria La Cuba, will begin the activity of homage in the province of Ciego de Avila, for the 86th anniversary of the constitution of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba (CTC).

At the end of the productive day, the provincial act of recognition to labour collectives and trade union organisations for their results during the past year will take place in the banana producing entity par excellence.
Among the awards will be the presentation of the Local 22nd Congress of the workers’ organisation to labour collectives, as well as to those who have made great achievements in the recovery work in the provinces affected by hurricanes.

They will also award the Juan Tomás Roig and the Merit for Tenacity distinctions, as well as the National Vanguard flag to two Basic Units of Cooperative Production in the municipality of Baraguá.

On its 86th anniversary on 28 January, the Secretariat of the Workers’ Central in the territory of Avila will recognise the leaderships of the Trade Unions and Municipal Committees of the CTC with the best overall results and in the fulfilment of the tasks of the 22nd Workers’ Congress.
