The authorities of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba (MINSAP) confirmed this Wednesday, the death of two persons and the infection of other 27 with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in the province of Ciego de Ávila.
Doctor Francisco Durán García, director of Epidemiology MINSAP, informed that 18 of those diagnosed are from the provincial capital, six from Majagua municipality, two from Venezuela and one from Ciro Redondo.
With four events, more than 40 open contagious areas, and an incidence of 27.68 (the highest in the country), Ciego de Ávila is the province that presents the most complex panorama in Cuba, according to the reporter Jorge Luis Delgado Felipe.
