The Majagua Canning Factory mango process begins (+Photos)

With the arrival of the first 36 tons of mango to the mills of the Chinese technology line, the staff of Majagua Canning Factory started the industrial process of the desired fruit.

This stage, considered as the second most important of the referred entity of the Avilanian southwest, must extend about three months, time dedicated to processing one thousand 400 tons of raw material destined to obtain concentrated and light pulps.

After almost doubling the previous year’s figure during the recently concluded tomato harvest, the men and women involved in the industrial process are in a position to make new contributions to the country’s economy, without neglecting prevention measures, said director Jorge González Armas.

For the recently initiated milling of the mango, the staff of Majagua Canning Factory has productions from several units located in the territory and from other provinces such as Las Tunas, while from the concentrated and light pulps they are made: jams, compotes and nectars.
