The three power plants in Ciego de Ávila that will be harvesting in the next contest are making progress in the repairs of the equipment without neglecting the health measures of the workers to prevent COVID-19.
In spite of the data generated by the Yankee blockade of sugar development, the province guarantees the necessary resources for the repairs of the mills, which are about 70 percent advanced physically.
To date, the Ciro Redondo complex has shown a great deal of drive in its work, followed by the Ecuador refinery plant, both of which are due to begin the harvest in December, according to the AZCUBA schedule.
In the province of Ciego de Ávila, the repairs of the transportation and mechanization equipment are also advancing, while the planting and cultural attention to the cane continues, in spite of the high humidity in the soils.
