Public Health professionals in the municipality of Ciego de Ávila are intensifying the re-certification of COVID-19 outbreaks, through a case-by-case review of every detail of the epidemiological survey to achieve in the shortest time possible the containment of the resurgence of the deadly pandemic.
Agnierys Cruz Rodríguez, director of Health in the territory, explained that the control of environmental sanitation actions, the footsteps, the use of face mask, and the detection of new cases, are part of the process in the communities.
Given the current scenario, each of the focal points is controlled in the areas and, above all, in those that have the most intense or the greatest number, because they need more strength to be worked on directly.
Mirla Sotolongo Martínez, official of the Primary Care System in the head municipality, informed that in the next few days it is foreseen the application of BiomodulinaT to more than nine thousand elderly people and the Transference Factor to another two thousand people in risk areas and to 950 children with illnesses that affect the immune system.
The professionals of Public Health intensify the recertification of focuses in Ciego de Ávila, with the accompaniment of the authorities of the Cuban Communist Party, the Government and the mass organizations.
