Despite the negative impact of the coronavirus that has caused restrictions on the economy and the provision of services, the workers of the Industrial Fishing Processing Unit in Morón fulfilled 124 percent of the total planned production until September of this year.
Oscar Buchillón Sánchez, director of the entity, informed that the collective also materialized the commitment in the industrial process to 139 percent, by converting more than 700 tons of fish from the sea and the aquaculture system into food for human consumption.
He mentioned, among the products, the fresh fish and the lines conformed, such as tilapia and mojarra fish, macabí pulp, croquettes, and hamburger mass, which are offered in butcher shops or specialized stalls, commercialization points and the direct sales to the population in the cars in charge of distributing the finished product to the Avilanian municipalities.
