For almost seven months the Natural and Traditional Medicine in Ciego de Ávila compensates as much as possible for the lack of medicines imposed by the criminal blockade against Cuba in the face of the new coronavirus.
Joaquín Luis Campos Fuentes, Administrator of the Center for Local Production of Medicines in Ciego de Ávila, explained that in the province, the raw material is guaranteed both for the production of anti-catarrhal syrups and for disinfectant solutions.
In the only Certified Center of the central region of the country for the production of this type of drug, the productive chain is intensified since March with an average of syrups higher than fourteen thousand units per day.
Natural and Traditional Medicine constitutes one of the most popular alternatives that in health matters remedies the limitations of the genocidal blockade against Cuba, at the same time that they favor the prevention of COVID-19.
