The main facilities of the Islazul chain in the province, including the Morón and Ciego de Ávila hotels, supported the fight against the pandemic by functioning as isolation or rest centers for health personnel who worked directly in the so-called red zone.
This was made known by Alys García Hernández, the chain’s delegate in the territory, who announced that the Aparthotel Azul and the Ciego de Ávila hotel became isolation centers for foreign clients considered suspicious, while the Morón hotel received all health workers who were working with positive patients.
García Hernández assures that at all times the workers of Islazul showed a high level of responsibility and sense of belonging, not only to the facility where they worked but also to the country and especially to the health of the people by taking on the task without any objections despite the risk involved.
In this way, the hotels Morón and Ciego de Ávila, and the Apartotel Azul, became worthy representatives of the leisure industry in the Avilanian province, and an example of commitment to life which reveals the unity of an entire people in the face of adversity and, above all, their confidence in victory.
