Seven cases of COVID-19 in Ciego de Ávila reported
Zalacain Petgrave explained at the press conference this Friday that they sent 254 samples to the laboratories.
At this moment, they keep seven focus controls open and 245 contacts, isolated in the centers enabled in the province, are being followed up.
According to the director 61 they are isolated in the motel Las Cañas, 11 in La Rueda, 147 in Ceballos 8, and 26 in the Hospital Roberto Rodríguez from Morón.
At present, 2,429 people remain under surveillance in Primary Health Care.
This Thursday, during the investigations, 88 acute respiratory infections were identified, and none of them were considered as suspects of COVID-19.
In addition, there are positive cases scattered in six of the 10 Avilanian municipalities.
Zalacaín Petgrave confirmed that the multi-family building known as El Pediátrico, located on the Northern Ring Road, and the La Piñera neighborhood, both in the city of Ciego de Ávila, are under quarantine.
