The province of Ciego de Ávila continues with the overdraft in electricity consumption, although in recent days the meters are decreasing the megawatt record, especially at the midday rush hour.
With the systematic evaluation of the Energy Council, state spending is reduced, an area that keeps air conditioners and other equipment offline, said the head of the energy department in the Provincial People’s Power, Héctor Jiménez.
The Avilanian territory has reserves of savings in the residential sector, called to reduce consumption with the support of mass organizations that deliver folding in the homes to help the population gain awareness about the rationality of electricity.
Ciego de Ávila is progressively stabilizing the operation of its Bioelectricity Plant and maintains several photovoltaic parks that help generate clean energy at times when the country requires the use of less fuel.
