Suspects of the COVID-19 in Ciego de Ávila are isolated in about six schools in the province, where they are accompanied and supported by teachers and other workers in the sector.
About 20 internal centers in all the municipalities have capacities and hygienic conditions ready to attend the cases sent by the health system, said the provincial director of education, Bárbara Rodríguez Milián.
The leader highlighted the willingness of the teachers to intervene in the tasks that are needed to prevent and stop the chain of transmission of the virus and announced that starting this Friday a group of educators will join the cleaning of the provincial hospital. In this stage of temporary closure of the educational institutions, the groups are protecting their centers, while another group of teachers is contributing, at a distance, to the review of students of all levels.
