University students from Ciego de Ávila evoke the legacy of the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, during the International Online Youth Meeting, Ideas that are Flags, which ends this Thursday, November 26.
Eleven students and two professors of the House of Higher Studies, Máximo Gómez Báez, from the Avilanian capital, recognized for their participation in the contingents of the fight against COVID-19, presented their experiences at the meeting, via internet.
The validity of his thought, ideas, legacy, and imperishable examples qualified the appointment, which once again showed the realities in defense and solidarity of the noblest causes of the people and their youth.
Under the slogan of Unity for solidarity, anti-imperialism, and anti-neoliberalism, youth leaders and about twenty outstanding personalities intervened to transmit messages of unity, mutual aid, and strategies in the face of the difficult situation that the pandemic generates throughout the world.
The Cuban youth and student movement, together with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), and political and mass organizations paid homage to Fidel Castro Ruz, four years after his physical disappearance, during the International Online Youth Meeting, Ideas that are Flags.
