The workers of the poultry unit “Monte Los Rusos” from Majagua, Ciego de Avila, took about two thousand 500 animals to fatten in support of the food program.

Maria del Carmen Cruz Echemendía, director of the center, said that such production right now reaches an average weight per specimen of 14 pounds so it is expected to start their transport to the slaughterhouse in the rest of the week.

The farm of the avilanian poultry company last year achieved favorable results when as of June 30 had stockpiled more than 123 thousand units to four percent of Compliance.

Located in the central highway surrounding areas, the unit’s corporate purpose is to send turkey eggs to the incubator plants in the country.

For several months now the structure has been subjected to an investment which includes  the dining room and 16 breeding places, five of which are already in operation, while the group is composed of thirty-one employees of which almost half of them are women.
