University of Medical Sciences of Ciego de Avila welcomed this week 483 students to the University Student Federation (FEU), who received their ID membership cards and signed the pledge.
This figure belongs to the fresh students of different specialties that are taught at the Faculty José Assef Yara, the province capital and Arley Hernandez Moreira, subsidiary of Moron.
Frank Hernández García, current president of the FEU in the higher education center offered information and said that the enrolled students in short – cycle studies are also included in the new group of members of the oldest student organization in Cuba,
In the university center of the province Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Health Technologies are studied.
More than two thousand 700 young people from this province study specialties of Medical Sciences in Ciego de Avila to give continuity to guarantee the health of the population.
The immediate task of the FEU Medical Sciences is the debate on the draft of the Constitution of the Republic of Cuba, which is gradually carried out in each student group.
