Through a video conference, members of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba exchanged about the Helms Burton Law with deputies, delegates and representatives of the press organs in Ciego de Avila.
The plenary in Ciego de Avila was attended by the Army Corps General Joaquin Quinta Sola, vice minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces.
During the video conference Rodolfo Dávalos, leader of the National Union of Jurists of Cuba, said that the US law is a measure that seeks to suffocate the economy of the nation, but once again we will move forward.
At the meeting held at the Provincial Party of Ciego de Avila, deputies, delegates and representatives of the press organs of the territory reaffirmed the decision of the Cuban people and government to defend their conquests, principles and sovereignty at whatever necessary price.
