Favorable results of health workers from Ciego de Avila in Venezuela

A team of Avilanian professionals contributes to the strengthening of the Good Living Program of the Diabetic Patient in the state of Táchira in the Republic of Venezuela, where integral care for these people allows an impact on reducing foot ulcer amputations.

Academic Juan Manuel Hernández de la Nuez, coordinator of the health project in the South American nation, explained that the preventive work in remote communities, the investigation of cases and the effectiveness of treatments help improve the life quality of sick people.

Right now they strengthen specialized medical consultations, which together with the cures and treatment with Heberprot-P enable greater inclusion of those afflicted to life.

Hernández de la Nuez, avilanian nurse with experience in this type of care, said that it is increasing the number of inquiries in remote areas of the city, where there is the most vulnerable and less affluent population, communities where Cubans strengthen preventive medicine through educational teachings.

Specialists in Angiology and Vascular Surgery and graduated trained nurses in integral care for those affected, train specialists in general medicine and nurses from Venezuela in the use of Heberprot-P and prevention of foot amputations.

Early diagnosis of lesions and the effectiveness of treatments, achieve impact of the Diabetic Patient´s Good Living program in Tachira and other Venezuelan states as Yaracuy and Aragua, where avilanians apply their experiences with the Cuban drug that speeds ulcers healing and prevents the leg amputation.
