Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Roberto Morales Ojeda, shared this Thursday with teachers and leaders of youth organizations at the University “Máximo Gómez Báez” in Ciego de Ávila , as part of the government’s visit to the province.

The need to strengthen the training of future professionals and increasing scientific studies, in pursuit of socio – economic development of the province and the country in sectors such as agriculture, information technology and pedagogy, were among the areas in which he emphasized.

The member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party was also interested in the main approaches and problems of more than 4000 students from the high studies institution of the province emerging from the IV Congress assemblies of the University Student Federation (FEU) facing the electoral process this October 30th.

Once the meeting ended he received from the hands of Doctor of Sciences Dayamí Fontes Marrero, Vice Chancellor of the educational center, the commemorative statuette for the 40th anniversary of the institution, awarded for their constant advice and work with the University.
