State farmers and peasants of Ciego de Avila intensify the tomato delivery in this campaign to complete the processing of more than thirty thousand tons of the vegetable.
The factories located in Ceballos, Majagua and Florencia assume higher volumes, although other centers in the territory grind the vegetable, and the sales in markets, and other places are also guaranteed.
With the processing of the food, the units of the province avileña make pasta, sauce and other varieties for distribution to the population and enterprises of several Cuban provinces and border market.
Considered one of the largest tomato producer in the country, Ciego de Avila is challenged to reach the plans with production of nearly fifty thousand tons, higher than the previous year.
