A group of state inspection of the Physical Planning Institute found that it remains the elimination of constructive irregularities and illegalities on the beaches in the province of Ciego de Avila .

Last year the avilanian territory was declared free of illegalities, as it regulates the Decree 212, and hereinafter the Provincial Directorate of Physical Planning (dppf) has maintained systematic monitoring to maintain that condition.

The recent revision comprised Playa ´Dorada´, Playa ´Prohibida´, Playa Las Conchas´, all of them in Cayo Coco , belonguing of the tourist destination Jardines del Rey .

Architect Laritza Ramirez, specialist of the department of urban and regional planning of the DPPF, when providing information, said there is special care to protect the dunes and the beach strip as part of the ecosystem.

For the preventive and advisory work by Physical Planning and CITMA, investors and hoteliers have gained knowledge to each beach area, free areas of buildings that affect the elements of the nature of the site.

Leisure spaces near the sea have been revitalized, with better aesthetics, fulfilling the provisions of the rules governing the use of suitable materials.

To combat beach erosion on the northern coast of Ciego de Avila , CITMA specialists conducted a dumping of sand which recovered a lot of that strip of sea.

All provisions regarding care for and improve the coastal nature of the province will continue to apply to maintain a better environment, which in turn fosters benefit to tourism and the economy of the province.
