The Bank of Credit and Commerce (BANDEC) of Ciego de Ávila, has issued until June 3rd the figure of 84 thousand 457 magnetic cards throughout the province.

Of that figure 38 thousand 615 belong to direct payroll (payment of wages), 14 thousand 829 come from saving accounts, and a thousand 341 are operated by retirees and pensioners, among other beneficiaries of this service.

When offering the information the engineer Mulvian Iglesias Pérez, BANDEC’s Communication and Marketing manager, said that there are 5 thousand 957 multi-bank cards associated with debit-network cards that allow clients to access the facilities offered by their various payment channels.

Through different payment channels such as: Mobile Banking, Internet Banking and ATMs, customers can pay for telephone services, electricity, as well as personal taxes and make transfers, amortize credits, check balances, among others.

One of the advantages of the use of the POS is the bonus that Bandec makes to its customers for the purchase of products or services in the stores.

From June 13 to 16, BANDEC announces, for Parents’ Day, a bonus of up to 10 percent for purchases through POS, with the aforementioned cards.

Decreasing the level of circulation of paper money in the street is the objective pursued by the banking system with this advanced mode.
