The Argentine Nobel Peace Prize winner Adolfo Perez Esquivel said here today that Cuba has the possibility to improve and deepen its Revolution, referring to the process of the draft new constitution that lives the Caribbean island.
Being asked on the topic by Prensa Latina, the prominent human rights activist and close friend of Cuba said that things are never static and every people have a permanent dynamic transformation.
Cuba has this opportunity to improve and deepen the Cuban Revolution and to make many of the dreams and hopes that Fidel Castro, Che Guevara and many Latin Americans like Hugo Chavez had come true, he said.
Deep discussions and opinions are collected on the island for several weeks and until November 15th on the new changes to update the constitution, which will replace the current dating back to 1976.

The opinions and proposals of Cuban citizens, including those living abroad, will go to the National Assembly of People’s Power (parliament) for the preparation of the Constitution which will be submitted to popular referendum after being approved.
