In the meeting, done at the same time in the universities of the territory, was presented La Pupila Insomne, text which shows to the new generation, the thought of an indispensable figure of the Cuban history.

With a prologue written by the unforgettable Raúl Roa, the volume contains part of the poetic production of Rubén, who emerged as one of the great exponents of the lyric poetry in the isle.

In this context, young students of the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Pedagogical Science University enjoyed the selling of diverse volumes and activities related to reading.

According to what has been foreseen, the festivity consists of a whole week with reading of texts, encounters with writers, literary talks and concerts, specially dedicated to youth.
